A new update is available for download now. This is a maintenance release with a lot of minor but very helpful fixes. We've integrated many suggested changes, thanks to your feedback! The most important changes include:

Aus vielen Emails die wir erhalten geht auch hervor, dass vielen Interessenten und Kunden garnicht bewußt ist, dass Cognitone ein deutsches Unternehmen ist.

Keine Frage: wichtige Einführungsartikel, Hilfeseiten und Videos sollen langfristig auch auf Deutsch vorhanden sein. Aber wie steht es mit der laufenden Diskussion, Blogs, Tipps, Beispielen usw? 

Cognitone has released Akai EWI-USB Control, a utility software for the wind controller hardware EWI-USB from Akai Professional. The tool provides controls for all the hardware's parameters and allows for saving frequently used presets to disk. This way a player can keep multiple settings for different setups. The tool is available for free.

Akai EWI-USB Control can be chained between the controller hardware and a sequencer or synthesizer software in order to filter the MIDI data stream in real-time. Four different key switches can be assigned to individual hardware sensors and trigger specific sound articulations this way.

The new update comes with a much improved MIDI file import: Now you can batch-import a library, reading all files in a directory (Pro). This is especially useful for importing drums or other phrases for a particular single instrument. 

We also fixed a number of bugs and improved the interactive behavior of the Harmonizer, to make it more intutive.
